Hi, I am Christa Michela
I am an artist by nature. I grew up taking dance lessons from a very young age and I soon learned how to express myself silently, without words, through movement and body language. This was my first passion, and as I've grown older I've found that photography fulfills me in many of the same ways. Photography has allowed me to continue to express myself creatively, and through it I want to capture the beauty of life and help others to express themselves, showing raw human emotion.
Silent expression is often misconstrued with a negative connotation. But, silence is often very loud and powerful. We don't have to make noise to cause ripples. We don't have to verbally explain how we are feeling to express it clearly through body language or in a photo.
I believe a photo speaks a thousand words. It reminisces a hundred memories. Photos make you feel things that you weren't otherwise feeling on any given day. That's why social media can cause issues with self-esteem, depression and anxiety. Negativity is contagious; and exposure to visual negativity regularly damages the human spirit.
I hope to spread love, the beauty of life and positivity through my photography. I want to capture what this life has to offer and inspire people to discover purpose in it. I want to hear your story and what you want to express in your photos. Will you share it and let me capture it?
